In the previous years, the Foothill Century Ride has been held the same day as the Merco Downtown Grand Prix (Saturday). This year, the Foothill Century ride will take place in April or May, date has not been determined. It will be put on by the same Merco-McLane Pacific crew as in the past. We hope the change in dates will bring better weather and greater participation. Visit

This race marks the start of the professional cycling
season in the U.S. each year and has been a tradition in our community for
many years. It brings national and international attention to the
community and revenue to local businesses and charities. This is MERCO's
second year to sponsor the race. Sponsorship allows us the opportunity to
show our gratitude and give back to the community that has made us so
successful.
