Current
routes are broken up into the following categories:
Class
I: Bike Path - A separate off-road facility, used exclusively for
bicyclists, although pedestrians and other have access
Class
II: Bike Lane - A striped lane at the side of a paved road, and shares
the roadway with motor vehicles.
Class
III: Bike Route - Shares the street with motor vehicles, and no road
markings designate a bike route.
